The Long-Awaited iPhone Finally Lands on Cairo’s Billboards
iPhone 17 takes over Egypt’s billboards in orange, pastels, and ultra-thin drama. Apple's return to the billboards of Egypt is not shy. Cairo's sidewalks are now awash in huge images of the new iPhone 17 series, introducing three hero phones, iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and the slimmest-ever iPhone Air, in a brazen announcement, following their previous ad campaign.
The graphics dispense with technical jargon, opting instead for cheeky but understandable Arabic slogans. "All-in-one Pro" covers the iPhone 17 Pro billboards, a loose translation from the Arabic, with a local sense of humor. The Pro version comes in a bright orange casing that glows burningly on the stark white back cloth, promising performance as well as personality.
The iPhone Air, on the other hand, pursues thin chic. Its billboard boasts "The thinnest iPhone ever”, over a picture of a hand gingerly holding the wafer-thin phone, emphasizing thinness and cutting-edge sharpness. And for the aesthetics, the iPhone 17 base model joins in with its range of pastel hues and the declaration "The king of color beauty”, spotlighting Apple's shift towards beauty and Gen Z-tweaked expressiveness.
All placements are co-branded with in-market distributors, including Tradeline, etisalat &, Sw!tch Plus, Dubai Phone, 2B, B.TECH, etc, a clear sign of Apple's cohesive supply push. Partner logos are relegated to the bottom, subtly emphasizing reliability, access, and pre-orderability.
