Global mobile network Vodafone has launched a second outdoor campaign during March starring international football hero Mohamed Salah. With the World Cup approaching, Vodafone has chosen football star Mohamed Salah as brand ambassador of their latest promotion. The “Egyptian king” appears smiling over red backgrounds branded with typo that feature all Salah’s nicknames, with ad copy that reads “When we agree on something, it becomes stronger than anything” – unfortunately, details of this special promotion are not offered on the OOH ads. The campaign was launched mid-March and goes big with mega signs, large and x-large uni-poles, double-decker poles, gates, billboards, and serials of great visibility on the main roads of Greater Cairo.
