OPPO launches [F1S] from Cairo with a new OOH strategy

New OOH strategy that brands our roads decently

The outdoor advertising market in Egypt has been pleasantly impressed by OPPO’s latest campaign “OPPO camera phone”. Chinese mobile manufacturer has launched a massive awareness campaign that has rapidly spread across Egypt for the past few weeks, and it reminds us of the earlier campaigns from the same brand in Egypt.
Since entering the Egyptian market back in 2015, OPPO has captured the attention of the market with varied advertising campaigns, each one even more strategic than the last.
Last April and May, OPPO published a campaign that covered all neighborhoods and areas in the Greater Cairo with a touch of creativity. Placing white led light under the brand-name, the distinct campaign carried on throughout the summer season across coastal cities of Egypt, using a large mockup of a phone on the busiest roads – the North coast road!
OPPO camera phone, which has ranked #1 phone in China, knew that they needed a special strategy to execute the Egyptian market, the largest market in the Middle East with a very high consumption value. This has made OPPO choose its partners in Egypt very carefully. OUTSITE OOH Media Agency was chosen to strategize the brand launch and its products, including the latest OPPO F1S campaign that starred a special appearance for the brand in several places in Cairo. The Egyptian capital was chosen by OPPO’s global management as the launching city of the new phone in the MENA region, an event that brought together OPPO’s global management, as well as the regional directors and the media communities of UAE, Algeria, Morocco, and Kenya.
The OOH agency designed a new strategic media plan which relied on making a complete branded scene that ticks to the audience mind and stays in their memory for a longer time.
If you happen to drive down the October Bridge Road – from downtown to Nasr City – or the Ring Road around Maadi area, you’ll enter a branded space that will make you feel like in an OPPO franchise store.
